Finally, it is important to emphasize that the distinctions between PBS
and ABA do not reflect an adversarial relationship. On the contrary, PBS and
ABA occupy somewhat different niches, and it is expected that the products
of the two approaches will result in mutual benefits. PBS is indebted to ABA
for its heritage and much of its conceptual, methodological, and technological
foundation. (Dunlap et al., 2008)

They make it sound as if ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) and PBS (Positive Behavior Support) are two different people. Two actual human beings. Heh.

Whoa! What caused the sudden burst in today’s number of visits? I’m not one to bother about statistics, but the graph just looked a bit weird when I saw my dashboard. Like..really weird.

*shurg*

I learned pretty radical stuff today, masya Allah :D Would love to blog about it, but I REALLY have to read these 2 articles (at least!) for tomorrow’s class. I’m sure some of you know how dry, boring and time consuming reading academic journals can be? It’s already 10.21pm, and I have to wake up around 5am…7am the latest. Yes, I only reached home around 9pm++ (I told you my Mondays and Tuesdays are horrendous!) So, will do a proper post, insya Allah, once my academic life slows down in trying to take over my life

I am trying to muster up the courage to take a shower.

I’m not one to fear water, soap or anything like that…but we’ve got problems with our shower, you see. Over the weekend, the heater in the bathroom (that also switches the shower on and off) refuses to be switched on. Hence, no shower. Yes, the two of us have been showering like minah kampung with a baldi and gayung. The weather’s cold (and getting colder), and this system of bathing just leaves us cold extra fast *shivers* I’m not sure if you get how that’s possible, but with a bit imagination (or you could take a step further and try it yourself~), I’m sure you get what I mean.
